Hilbert College has excellent on-campus athletic
facilities, including the newly renovated Hafner Recreation Center which now features a 2,000-square-foot fitness center equipped with state-of-the-art aerobic and strength training equipment. The air conditioned facility boasts six large televisions with Direct TV capabilities. The facility is available to alumni for $100 per year; to spouses of alumni for $150 a year; no children under 18. The fitness center is open from 9am-11pm Monday thru Friday and 10am-10pm Saturday and Sunday. If alumni have questions or are interested in joining, contact Lindsey Peltier at 926-8804 or e-mail at

Jobs for students and alumni are now posted on the Hilbert website at
http://www.hilbert.edu/findingajob.asp Positions are posted by major (the category “All Jobs” includes positions for all majors, more than one major, and jobs that do not specifically relate to a major). To access a particular position, you will be prompted to use a password, which is
hilbertjobs (all one word).
Job openings at the Hilbert are now posted at
www.hilbert.edu. To access the page click on faculty/staff on the home page and then on human resources to view current open positions at the college.
The new Hilbert College web site
www.hilbert.edu includes Hilbert E-news, which is an e-mail that’s sent out to subscribers to give them the latest news releases posted on the site. There’s no set time frame on the frequency but it will be sent when there’s enough news to merit it being done. Check out the site and if you are interested in subscribing, sign up.
As a member of the Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities
(CICU), Hilbert College and its alumni are eligible to participate in an innovative personal computing discount program established with IBM for select IBM standard computer models. As Hilbert College alumni you can purchase directly from IBM by visiting
www.cicu.org and clicking on RESOURCES. This will take you to the page where the information regarding the models available, the discounted prices and ordering instructions are available. CICU will be working with IBM each quarter to review the models available. Don’t miss this great
opportunity!
